GAIMIN and Aethir agree to collaborate on extending global GPU-based DePIN for compute power

    Published on:

Zug, Switzerland, 2nd April 2024 – GAIMIN, the world’s leader in delivering decentralised data processing power through gaimin.cloud, and Aethir who build distributed GPU-based compute infrastructures for dynamic, enterprise use cases, today announce a partnership to provide ubiquitous, scaleable, on demand compute power to their respective service users.

The requirement for data processing / compute power is increasing year on year, especially with the growth of the Artificial Intelligence, Video Rendering, Web3 and gaming industries. Centralised data processing, with its inherent limitations, is being replaced by DePIN architectures and its ability to distribute the energy consumption and costs globally, leveraging device availability and removing the need for localised physical premises.

GAIMIN and Aethir are investigating how their respective DePIN infrastructures can successfully integrate to deliver a scalable compute service to their respective service users.

Martin Speight, CEO of GAIMIN commented:

“This agreement between both parties identifies how the compute networks from both organisations can integrate to not only extend the amount of compute power available to service users from both organisations, but also provide a cost effective mechanism to scale processing requirements as ad hoc demand from one party increases or decreases.”

Daniel Wang, CBO and Co-Founder, commented:

“Our partnership with GAIMIN is a massive leap towards universal cloud compute. Gamers all around the world will benefit from the integration of our networks. We are excited to bring high-fidelity gaming content to anyone, anywhere, regardless of their hardware limitations.”

This agreement allows both organisations to integrate their respective technologies to deliver a truly scalable, cost effective, global DePIN, passively rewarding device owners to allow their devices to participate in the DePIN and extend the compute power available.
